  • How to create an account?
    • To create an account, download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store and follow the on-screen instructions.

  • I’m unable to create an account for some reasons, what do I do?
    • If you're experiencing issues with creating an account, you can contact us on our website or email us at goflakex@gmail.com for assistance

  • Is Flakex working all around the world?
    • Yes, you can join and organize sports all around the globe.

  • What kind of activities are on Flakex?
    • Flakex offers a wide range of sports activities (120+ sports registered) including football, volleyball, bachata, yoga, and much more! You can explore the app to discover activities that interest you.

  • How can I earn money on Flakex?
    • If you organize paid activities, you can earn money on Flakex by receiving payments from participants.
      You can also earn 15 euros usable in-app when inviting 10 new users to Flakex.

  • How to connect or create an account on Stripe?

    • Step 1: Go to your profile
      Step 2: Tap “Wallet”
      Step 3: Tap “Connect”
      Step 4: Follow the steps to connect or create a Stripe account

  • What reward do I get when inviting new friends to Flakex?
    • We offer a 15 euros credit to be used on the app if you invite 10 friends on Flakex. To do so:
      - Go to your profile
      - Click on Get 15€
      - Share the app link to 10 friends who create an account
      - You’ll receive 15 euros straight to your wallet!

  • How to request a refund?
    • To request a refund for a paid event, go to the event listing, and click the "Request Refund" button. Please note that refund policies may vary depending on the organizer's settings.

  • I requested a refund. What happens now?
    • The organizer will have 10 days to accept or refuse your request. If the organizer refuses, the Flakex team will examine the dispute and make the final decision.

  • How to report someone?
    • If you need to report someone for inappropriate behavior or misconduct:
      - Step 1: Open the user’s profile
      - Step 2: Tap on “Report user”.
      If you’re friends with this user, tap on “Remove from Friends List” before tapping on “Report user”.

  • How to give, edit, and delete a review?
    • To give a review for an event you attended:
      - Step 1: Open the “Calendar”
      - Step 2: Open the event details
      - Step 3: Click the "Leave a Review" button.
      You can edit your review by accessing the event details from your profile settings.

  • Can I create events for free?
    • Yes, creating events on Flakex is free. Our mission is to make sports more accessible.

  • How does Flakex make money?
    • If you organize paid events, we will take a 7% commission. So if for instance you earn 100 euros on Flakex, we would take 7 euros. This system allows us to encourage sports events while developing the app to make it the best sports app ever created.

  • What is the difference between an activity and a class?
    • Activities refer to general sports events, while classes typically involve some form of instruction or training.

Joining Classes/Events

  • How to join an activity?
    • On the home screen, whether you're in map view or list view, simply tap on an activity to view more details. Then, select "Join" and you're all set!

  • How to join a class?
    • To access class details, tap on the class from the home screen, whether you're in map view or list view. Depending on how the host set up their class, you'll have different options. If you buy an individual pass, it's a one-time pass for the selected class on that date. If you purchase a monthly subscription or a package, you'll be prompted to choose whether you want to join that specific class, as you have the flexibility to select any class with an available spot.

  • How to filter search per activity?
    • You can search for sports and organizers using the search bar in the home screen. You can also tap on the filters icon next to the search bar to filter per time of the day, distance, number of available spots, participant limits, and price.

  • Where can I see the events I've registered for?
    • You can view these events in the "Calendar" section of the app. You will see in green the events you registered to, in orange the ones you’re invited to, in purple the events you’re organizing, and in red the canceled events.

  • How to cancel my attendance?

    • - Step 1: Navigate to your "Calendar".
      - Step 2: Open the event you wish to cancel.
      - Step 3: Tap on the "Cancel" button.
      Keep in mind that cancellation policies may differ for paid events based on the organizer's settings. You can find the specific policy outlined in the event details.

  • How to cancel a monthly membership?
    • If you wish to cancel your monthly membership:
      - Step 1: Open the “Calendar”
      - Step 2: Select an events paid with this subscription
      - Step 3: Tap on the "Cancel" button.
      Your membership will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

  • Can I book an event for a friend?
    • While it isn’t possible to book an event for your friends, you can easily send them the link of the event for them to register:
      - Step 1: Open the event details.
      - Step 2: Click on the share button.
      - Step 3: Choose your preferred method to send the event link to your friends!

  • How to invite my friends to activities I registered for?
    • To invite your friends to register to an activity, follow these simple steps:
      - Step 1: Open the event details.
      - Step 2: Click on the share button.
      - Step 3: Choose your preferred method to send the event link to your friends!

  • Do I need to reserve an event after purchasing my monthly pass?
    • Yes, you must register for events before attending, even after purchasing a monthly pass. In other words, simply buying a monthly pass doesn’t automatically reserve your spot for each class. Be sure to register for the specific events you plan to attend to secure your spot!

Hosting Classes/Events

  • How to create an event?
    • You can follow these steps to create events on Flakex:
      To organize a class:

      - Step 1: Click on the “+” button on the home page
      - Step 2: Select class
      - Step 3: Choose the type of sport you’re hosting
      - Step 4: Add a title and description
      - Step 5: Add your pricing and optional settings
      - Step 6: Set up your weekly schedule
      - Step 7: Click on the Recurring options if your classes happens regularly
      - Step 8: Set up your location(s)
      - Step 9: Your classes are now seen by all users!
      - Step 10: Optional - you can invite other people to your classes by swiping users right or selecting a share option below.

      To organize an activity:

      - Step 1: Click on the “+” button on the home page
      - Step 2: Select activity
      - Step 3: Choose the type of sport you’re hosting
      - Step 4: Select the date and select a recurring option if you host this activity regularly
      - Step 5: Choose a location
      - Step 6: Choose whether your activity is free or paid
      - Step 7: You can set up other optional settings
      - Step 8: Click on "Done"
      - Step 9: Your activities are now seen by all users!
      - Step 10: Optional - you can invite other people to your activities by swiping users right or selecting a share option below.

  • How to get started as an organizer?
    • Here are the steps to follow to get started as an organizer:
      - Step 1: Create an account on Flakex
      - Step 2: Go to your profile
      - Step 3: Click on your profile bar
      - Step 4: Add a description of yourself as an organizer.
      - Step 5: Go back to the home screen
      - Step 6: Click on the “+” button
      - Step 7: Choose whether you’re organizing a class or an activity

      If you organize a class:
      - Step 1: Choose the type of sport you’re hosting
      - Step 2: Add a title and description
      - Step 3: Add your pricing and optional settings
      - Step 4: Set up your weekly schedule

  • Can I create automatically recurring events?
    • Yes, you can set up recurring events for regular events. You’ll have the following options: daily, weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly, and monthly.

  • Can I automatically cancel my events if I don’t have enough participants?
    • Yes you can! When creating an event, you can set up a minimum number of participants. If the minimum of participants isn't reached one hour before the start of the event, it will be canceled. Participants will receive a notification telling them about the cancellation, and they will receive a full refund if it’s a paid event.

  • Will these events expire over time?
    • Every 3 months you will receive a notification asking if your events are still ongoing. If you say yes, your events will stay live. If you say no or don’t reply within 7 days, your events will expire.

  • I organize online classes, can I add them to Flakex?
    • For now you must organize on-site events in order to add them to Flakex.

  • Can I get visibility for free?
    • Yes, anyone on the app can create events and get global visibility for free.

  • Can people see my events?
    • Unless you create private activities, your events will be visible by all Flakex users all around the globe.

  • Can I invite people to my events?
    • Absolutely. Here is how:
      - Step 1: Open the “Calendar”
      - Step 2: Select the event you’re organizing
      - Step 3: lick on the share button
      - Step 4: You can invite Flakex users or send the event link to other platforms

  • Can I promote my events on your website and Instagram?
    • We are happy to help you get more visibility. To do so, you can fill in this form here.

  • I own a club, a facility, and/or I organize tournaments. Can I add this to Flakex?
    • That’s exciting! We are currently creating a new version where you will be able to add clubs, facilities, and tournaments!

  • How to edit my events?
    • To edit an event:
      - Step 1: Open the “Calendar”
      - Step 2: Open the event that you wish to edit
      - Step 3: Make your edits
      - Step 4: Click on “Save changes”

  • Can I set a minimum and maximum number of participants?
    • Yes, you can specify the minimum and maximum number of participants allowed for your event during the event creation process.

  • Can I cancel an event?
    • Yes, to cancel an event:
      - Step 1: Open the “Calendar”
      - Step 2: Open the event that you wish to cancel
      - Step 3: Click on “Cancel”
      - Step 4: If this event is recurring, choose whether you wish to cancel one event, the events of this week, or all events

  • What happens if I cancel an event?
    • If you cancel an event, participants will be notified, and any payments made will be refunded.

  • Can I automatically cancel an event if I don’t have enough participants?
    • Yes, you can create events that have a minimum number of participants. If this number is not met an hour before, the event will be automatically canceled.

  • What happens once someone joins my event?
    • Once someone joins your event, you'll be notified, and you can view the list of participants in the event details. Additionally, a chat will be automatically created between you and all participants.

  • Can I track participation?
    • Yes! Flakex automatically generates a list of participants when users join your event. Once your event starts, the app will automatically track who showed up. And if a participant arrives without their phone, you can always still check them in manually.

  • How to update my cancellation policy?
    • To update your cancellation policy:
      - Step 1: Go to your profile
      - Step 2: Click “My cancellation policy”
      - Step 3: Choose your preferred cancelation policy option between flexible, moderate, and strict
      - Step 4: Click “Save”

  • What happens when a participant cancels his attendance?
    • When a participant cancels their attendance to your event, you will receive a notification, and their spot may be opened up for other participants to join. Depending on your cancellation policy, the participant may be eligible for a refund.

  • Can I request reviews?
    • At the end of your events, all participants will receive a notification asking them to leave feedback. On top of that you can also chat with your community and ask them to leave a review.

  • A participant requested a refund. What happens now?
    • At the end of your events, all participants will receive a You will have 10 days to accept or refuse this request. If you refuse, the Flakex team will examine the dispute and make the final decision.

  • Where can I see all of my transactions?
    • You can consult your transactions by going to your profile and clicking on “Transaction history”.

  • How to edit my profile picture?
    • - Step 1: Go to your profile
      - Step 2: Tap on your profile bar
      - Step 3: Tap on “Change pic“
      - Step 4: Tap “Save Changes”

  • How to edit my name?
    • - Step 1: Go to your profile

  • How to edit my profile description?

      - Step 3: You can either show the QR code to your friends in person, or click on the share button on the top right of the screen and select your preferred way to share your profile.

  • How to see my stats?
    • - Step 1: Go to your profile

  • How to delete my account?

  • How to talk to my community?
    • A group chat will be automatically created between you and all of your participants. This way, you can interact with them at all times and answer any questions they may have.
      You can also text your participants privately. To do so, you will have to be friends with them first:

      - Step 1: Open “Contacts”
      - Step 2: Use the search bar for the people you would like to be friends with
      - Step 3: Click on the “+” button next to their name to send them a friends request
      - Step 4: Wait until they accept your friend request
      - Step 5: Open their profile and click “Message”

  • How do I reply or react to a message?
    • To interact with a message, press and hold it until options appear. Then, you can choose how you wish to reply, react, or delete the message.
